#20 JJ Risien
A 4 year Varsity starter at Dripping Springs High School, led the Lady Tigers to a State Tournament appearance in 2002. Risien currently holds the All-Time scoring record at Dripping Springs with 1,840 career points as well as Single-Game scoring record with 50pts (37 points in regulation and 13 in OT). Risien was a First Team All-State selection her Junior and Senior years at DSHS, and was selected to the State Tournament All-Tournament Team in 2002. Listed as one of the top 25 seniors in Texas, Risien was selected to compete in the TGCA and TABC All-Star Games her Senior year. Risien was a Division I scholarship athlete for the University of Texas at San Antonio (2003-05) until she suffered a career-ending knee injury. Risien is a Graduate of Texas A&M University, and has coached at both the middle school and high school levels.
